Paisley, near Glasgow – Bungalow Tarmac Driveway with Flat-Top Edging Kerbs
This bungalow driveway in Paisley, near Glasgow, was resurfaced following removal of the existing grass and gravel driveway areas. Flat-top edging kerbs were fitted to define the tarmac and separate it from the lawns. The photograph shows the completed driveway sweeping across the front of the house and continuing along the side. The curved kerb line gives the wide surfaced area a clear boundary against the garden.

The work carried out
Removal of grass and gravel
The existing grass and gravel driveway areas were removed as part of the resurfacing work. The change created a continuous tarmac approach and parking surface around the bungalow frontage.
Flat-top edging kerbs
Flat-top kerbs were fitted along the driveway edges. The photograph shows the kerbs following the curved lawn, separating the garden from the new tarmac without using a wide decorative block border.
Resurfaced bungalow driveway
The new tarmac extends across the front of the bungalow and into the side access. The completed image shows the driveway layout, curved edging and the way the surface meets the existing paved strip beside the house.
