Ayr – Golden Gravel Hot Tar & Chip Driveway
UK Roadworks Group renewed an existing gravel driveway at a private property in Ayr, Scotland. We scraped out the old surface, levelled the driveway and compacted the prepared area before applying a golden gravel hot tar and chip finish. The completed surface gives the approach a consistent stone appearance, running from the house to the road entrance and around the planting. The project demonstrates why preparation forms part of the overall job: the new surface follows the levels and shape established before the bitumen-bonded aggregate is laid.
