The work carried out
Clean the estate work area and remove failed sections
Cleaning and preparation accompanied the planing of bad sections along the estate road. The repair route served the manor house and estate office; the photograph shows removed asphalt being loaded into a tipper.
Supply, lay and roll heavy-duty hot tarmac
We supplied the replacement hot tarmac, laid it in the prepared sections and rolled it to compact the new surface. The work addressed the agreed damaged parts of the access road.
Bitumen seal all joints
All asphalt repair joints were sealed with bitumen as part of the completed package. Joint treatment helps protect the interfaces between replacement tarmac and adjoining surfacing.
