Industrial-unit and warehouse-yard repairs
Failed asphalt at a loading entrance or beside a building needs a repair detail that suits the traffic and existing levels. We review heavy-vehicle loading, turning, drainage and the soundness of the surrounding surface before deciding the depth and extent of removal.
Our Glasgow industrial-unit project shows a section repaired after saw-cutting, breaking out and removing the failed material. We also have Glasgow reinstatement photographs showing compaction in progress. These examples help explain the difference between preparation, laying and the completed repair.
Retail, leisure and residential access
For retail parks, gyms, restaurants, bars and other busy Glasgow premises, tell us which entrances and pedestrian routes are essential during trading. We discuss isolating the working area and sequencing several patches before confirming a programme.
Domestic driveways and private parking areas can also be assessed. Include damage around thresholds, kerbs and drains in your photographs. Where many patches have failed or the base is moving, we explain whether a wider resurfacing or reconstruction proposal is more suitable.
Patching, resurfacing or rebuilding?
- Local pothole or failed patch: remove loose or failed material to suitable boundaries, assess the base, then prepare, lay and compact the specified asphalt.
- Widespread worn surfacing: assess whether road planing and a larger resurfaced section are appropriate.
- Sinking, repeated damage or standing water: investigate the base, levels and drainage before covering the area. Additional preparation may be needed.
The repair depth, material, bonding treatment and joint finish are specified for the site. A new patch may differ in colour from the weathered surface around it. See our full tarmac repair and reinstatement service for the work we undertake.

Your repair questions
Do you repair car parks while a business remains open?
We discuss the access your business needs and whether a phased repair programme is practical. Working areas, vehicle routes and reopening are agreed for the site; uninterrupted access is not assumed.
Do you cover Paisley, Hamilton and Motherwell?
Yes. Repair enquiries are welcome from those towns and the surrounding areas listed here. Send the postcode so we can confirm the survey and mobilisation arrangements.
Can you repair just the damaged part of a driveway?
Where the surrounding construction is sound, a local patch may be appropriate. We inspect the surface and base before recommending a repair boundary or a broader scope.
